Fee Challans
Generate semester fee challans for individual students or a whole batch, support installment schedules, and track exactly who has paid, who has a partial payment and who is still due. PDF challans and payment receipts are produced in the system and can be sent to students on WhatsApp so they do not need to visit the accounts office just to get their challan. Payments are recorded in doublesixOS; the system does not process card or wallet transactions.
Results and CGPA
Enter marks per course for each student and the system calculates GPA for the semester and updates the running CGPA automatically, with no manual computation or separate spreadsheet needed. The examination department can record mid term, final and sessional marks in one place and produce clean result sheets for the whole batch. Because results attach to the same student record, CGPA is always current and accurate for transcript generation.
PDF Transcripts
Generate a complete official transcript for any student directly from the system, with all semesters, courses, grades and CGPA drawn from the same central record. Transcripts come out as clean PDFs ready to print or share, with no need to compile data from multiple sources before producing the document. Enrolling students in a new semester
The registrar opens the new semester, selects the batch and records each student's course registrations with credit hours. The system checks that courses are properly assigned to faculty and builds the enrollment list for every course. When registration closes, the examination department and each faculty member already have the confirmed student lists they need, with no paper forms to collect or reconcile.
Generating and distributing fee challans
The accounts office generates semester challans for the entire batch in one step, with installment options set according to the fee structure. Each challan is produced as a PDF and sent to the student on WhatsApp so they receive it on their phone the same day. As students pay, the accounts team marks payments in the system and the pending dues list updates immediately, so the accounts officer always knows exactly who is outstanding without cross referencing paper receipts.
Calculating CGPA and producing a transcript
The examination department enters marks for each course at the end of the semester and the system calculates semester GPA and updates the student's running CGPA automatically. When a student needs an official transcript, the registrar opens the student record, verifies the data is complete and generates a PDF transcript in seconds from the same screen. There is no compiling data from separate semester result files before producing the document.
Sending a result notification to students
Once the examination department has finalized results, the coordinator can send a WhatsApp notification to enrolled students informing them their results are available. Students receive the message on their regular WhatsApp in Urdu or English, with no login to a separate portal required. No IT team needed

We have separate spreadsheets in admissions, accounts and the examination department. How do we move over?
You move at your own pace and our team helps you with the setup. You start by entering your departments, programs and student list into doublesixOS, and we help you bring across your existing data during onboarding. Many universities run the old spreadsheets alongside doublesixOS for the first semester while staff get comfortable, then switch over fully once the team is confident. There is no requirement to import everything before you can start using the system.
Can the interface be used in Urdu, and do Urdu documents have right to left support?
Yes. The whole platform switches between Urdu and English in one click, and full right to left layout applies throughout when Urdu is selected. Staff can work in whichever language suits them, and student notifications, fee challans and result communications can go out in Urdu. It was designed from the start, so Urdu is not a limited mode or a separate version.
How does sending WhatsApp to students work, and do students need to install anything?
Students receive messages on the regular WhatsApp app they already have on their phones. They do not need to install anything new or create a portal account. From the doublesixOS dashboard, your staff can message an individual student in Urdu or English, so it is outgoing notification rather than an automated two way WhatsApp conversation with students. Automatic fee challan reminders, semester registration confirmations and result notifications, and sending to entire batches in one action, are coming soon.
Is our data safe and private?
Yes. Each business’s data is kept separate using row level security, so you only ever see your own university’s information. It is stored on a secure cloud and backed up automatically every day, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Can one student record be seen across admissions, accounts and the examination department at the same time?
Yes, that is the core of how doublesixOS works for universities. Each student has one record and it covers admission details, enrolled semesters, course registrations, fee history and results all in the same profile. The admissions office, accounts team and examination department each see the parts relevant to them from the same underlying record, so there is no need to maintain separate files in different departments or call each other to answer basic questions about a student.
How does CGPA work, and can we generate official transcripts from the system?
When the examination department enters marks for each course at the end of a semester, the system calculates the semester GPA automatically and updates the student's cumulative CGPA on their record. There is no separate spreadsheet calculation needed. Once marks are entered and verified, an official transcript can be generated as a clean PDF directly from the student record, with all semesters, courses, grades and the final CGPA included. Producing a transcript takes seconds rather than hours of file gathering.
What devices and internet do we need?
Any phone, tablet or laptop with a web browser works, so there is no special hardware to buy. It runs on a normal internet connection, and because it is a Progressive Web App, recent data is cached so basic tasks keep working if your connection drops for a while, then sync once you are back online.
How long does setup take, and do you train our team?
We set the system up with you and configure it around how your university works, so you are not starting from a blank screen. We then train your team over call, screen share or WhatsApp until they are comfortable. The interface is simple, so most teams pick it up quickly.
What happens to our data if we ever decide to leave?
Your data belongs to you. You can download your records and reports as PDFs at any time, and if you ever decide to stop, we will provide a copy of your data. There is no lock in.
