Enrolling a new admission
The admissions office fills in the applicant's form once, covering personal details, program, guardian contacts and fee plan. With one action the applicant becomes an enrolled student with a profile, roll number and section already in place. Nothing is typed a second time, and the student appears immediately in attendance, fees and timetable.
Marking attendance with a shortage warning
A lecturer opens the class on a phone and taps Present or Absent for each student in the session. The system updates each student's running attendance percentage immediately. Any student who crosses the shortage threshold gets flagged automatically, so the college can notify them and their guardian on WhatsApp before the shortage disqualifies them from the exam.
Generating fee challans and recording payments
The accounts office selects a program and generates challans for every student in one step. Challans are shared on paper or on WhatsApp. As students pay, the cashier records the amount and whether it is a full payment or an installment. A PDF receipt is produced on the spot, and the pending list updates in real time so the office always knows exactly who is due.
Compiling and publishing results
After exams, subject teachers enter marks into the system. The system totals marks, calculates percentage and GPA, and assigns grades according to the college's grading scheme. We keep everything in paper registers and Excel right now. How do we move over to doublesixOS?
You can move at your own pace. You enter your programs, sections and students directly in the system, and our team helps you bring in your existing lists during setup. Many colleges run the old registers alongside doublesixOS for the first few weeks and then switch fully once the office is comfortable. There is no deadline and no data is lost in the process.
Can the interface, report cards and documents be in Urdu?
Yes. The whole platform switches between English and Urdu in one click, with full right to left support. Report cards, fee receipts and WhatsApp messages to students and parents can all go out in Urdu. It was built this way from the start, not added as a translation, so the layout and text work correctly throughout.
How do students and parents get WhatsApp updates, and do they need to install anything?
They need nothing at all. Updates go to WhatsApp, which students and parents already use, so there is no app to download and no account to create. Is our data safe and private?

What devices and internet do we need?
Any phone, tablet or laptop with a web browser works, so there is no special hardware to buy. It runs on a normal internet connection, and because it is a Progressive Web App, recent data is cached so basic tasks keep working if your connection drops for a while, then sync once you are back online.
How long does setup take, and do you train our team?
We set the system up with you and configure it around how your college works, so you are not starting from a blank screen. We then train your team over call, screen share or WhatsApp until they are comfortable. The interface is simple, so most teams pick it up quickly.
What happens to our data if we ever decide to leave?
Your data belongs to you. You can download your records and reports as PDFs at any time, and if you ever decide to stop, we will provide a copy of your data. There is no lock in.
