Taking a new order with measurements

A customer walks in and asks for a shalwar kameez. You open the new order form, select the customer (or create their profile in seconds), pick their saved measurements, fill in the fabric details and special instructions, set the delivery date and save. The order is immediately in the system with a status of taken, and the assigned master can see it right away.

Getting a delivery date reminder

How does sending WhatsApp to customers work, and do they need to install anything?

When an order is ready or a pickup reminder is due, you tap the WhatsApp button on that order and the message goes directly to the customer's phone. The customer receives it on the WhatsApp they already use and needs no new app, no account and no password. You send in Urdu or English from the same dashboard you use for everything else.

Is our data safe and private?

Can I store a customer's measurements and use them for every new order?

Yes, and this is one of the most useful things doublesixOS does for a tailor. You enter each customer's measurements once in their profile and those measurements are available every time you create a new order for them. You never have to ask a regular customer to measure again, and there is no risk of picking up a wrong slip from an old order.

How does advance and balance tracking work, and can I see what is outstanding?

Every order has its own advance and balance fields in rupees. When a customer pays the advance, you record it on the order. When they collect and pay the balance, you record that too and the order is marked settled. You can see at any time which orders still have an outstanding balance, and a PDF receipt is produced for each payment to share on WhatsApp or print at the counter.

What devices and internet do we need?

Any phone, tablet or laptop with a web browser works, so there is no special hardware to buy. It runs on a normal internet connection, and because it is a Progressive Web App, recent data is cached so basic tasks keep working if your connection drops for a while, then sync once you are back online.

How long does setup take, and do you train our team?

We set the system up with you and configure it around how your tailoring business works, so you are not starting from a blank screen. We then train your team over call, screen share or WhatsApp until they are comfortable. The interface is simple, so most teams pick it up quickly.

What happens to our data if we ever decide to leave?
